Close-up magic:
A close-up magician is a versatile entertainer. Ian is able to move smoothly from one group of guests to another unobtrusively. Ian uses everyday objects such as coins, rings, pens, and cards to dazzle and amaze. The beauty of Close-up magic is it happens before your very eyes – this is real magic! It usually starts with mixing and mingling where guests gather to meet over a drink at the reception. This is a great ice breaker and conversation starter.

Table magic:
Table magic is when the guests are seated for dinner and the magician moves from table to table performing before and after meals and between courses.
Stand-up magic:
This is a more traditional option where the performer is in front of an audience. It is generally more expensive as it requires additional preparation, setup and breakdown times. It usually consists of a 20 – 30 minute act. Ian’s stand up act is purely psychological illusion.

Psychological Illusion:
This is also known as Mentalism or Mind Reading and is a performing Art in which the performer uses his 5 senses to create the illusion of a 6th. The audience members think that Ian has special powers. can read and control their minds and can see into the future.
Few magicians are willing or able to offer this kind on entertainment because it's quite risky for the performer. The ones prepared to take these risks are therefore in great demand. To be able to predict and influence human behaviour requires special skills. A mentalism performance can take place either on stage or at guests' tables. The effect on the audience is quite profound and they'll be talking about it for days after the event.
