- Kinda like Hogwarts!
This is Wellington College in Crowthorne, Berkshire. It is a stunning building amid equally beautiful grounds. Milly booked me to entertain for the Farewell party of one of their Housemasters, Neil Lunnon. I started outside with some Pre-dinner magic as the the boys and their parents arrived. It was a rather large gathering of students, parents and teachers, all of whom were intrigued by the Close up magic . It was a chilly summer evening so I was relieved when the sound of the bagpipes gathered everyone inside for the speeches, dinner and table magic.
It all reminded me of my schooldays and the comradery that exists amongst students. Amongst the guests was TV sports presenter Annabel Croft. She and her hubby were really charming and loved the magic. Milly later wrote to me and said, ‘Many thanks for the entertainment. From the chorus of noise coming from the tables behind us where you were doing your magic, you clearly went down very well’.
