Magical 60th Birthday

Wednesday, May 16th, 2012

Thought I would mention a few performances over the next couple of blogs that stood out for me at which I was the Birthday magician . I love doing these parties, particularly  the ‘older’ parties as everyone is really up for enjoying themselves and happy to see eachother.

Wendy had her 60th party at the  Lane End Conference Centre which is a super venue for any celebration and is in fact the venue for my nieces Wedding in September!

Wendy is a super lady and very organised. Apart from having me as her Evening entertainer, she also had games such as darts, bowling and more in a seperate room for those not wanting to dance later.

Wendy emailed later, ‘Thank you thank you thank you! If the number of compliments I had about you turned into jobs, you would be very busy for the rest of the year.’

Wedding Fayres and Fair Weddings

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011

As I am going to be at a wedding Fayre at Danesfield House in Marlow this Sunday, I thought I would blog a few weddings I have performed at:

Torie Westell booked me to perform at her wedding at the Warbrook House and Grange in Hook.

Tori mentioned the guests ‘were highly impressed with the magic’, but I was really impressed with the cakes, made by Brian Taylor from Alexander Taylor Cakes!

Last year at Neil Barlow’s wedding held at the Lane End Conference Centre. They had a DJ, Ian Baxter from Bass-FX Djs and cracking good weather!

Remember the sunny days!

Sue and Neil kindly sent this email later: ‘Thanks you so much for your magic and mind games at our wedding. The look on people’s faces as you baffled and entertained them was priceless. You provided the link between the wedding breakfast and the evening very well. I think you managed to interact with everyone there. Thank you again.’
