Magic at St. Katherines of Parmoor
Rachel booked me to perform for her mothers 80th birthday party. There was a variety of age groups there. Such is the versatility of the the Birthday party magician – I can perform for every age group. Although I essentially perform Magic for adults , I always having something ‘up my sleeve’ for children of all ages. I really enjoyed entertaining Rachel’s family and friends because they really loved magic. The interesting thing was many of them were very intelligent scientists and were somewhat baffled by the magic, particularly the Mentalism.
St. Katherines of Parmoor
Above is the beautiful entrance to St. Katherines of Parmoor near Frieth in Buckinghamshire. It belongs to the Sue Ryder Fellowship and is a unique venue to find serenity. Many retreats take place here but often businesses will run conferences here or folks will simply stay over for a couple of nights to to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Rachel emailed later, ‘ Hi Ian, they all loved you and your amazing magic and mind work. Particularly fun as we had a number of PHD scientists in the group who seek an explanation for everything, and they were thrilled and delighted with it. It was without question the highlight of the weekend.’
